If you look at cs2mx schematic, you will see Rx coil tuned with .047uF(47nF) capacitor. Using 1.9mH for Rx coil you measured gives resonant frequency with 47nf cap of 16.84KHZ(operating freq.). In order for fisher coil Rx(2.4mH) to resonate at 16.84KHZ, you will need 37nF cap( use nearest value which is 33nF). I dont know the operating frequency of cs2m, but you can use same way to work out value of Rx capaitor. As for tX coil, your fisher tx is not centre-tap,so you are screwed I think, since this is hartley oscillator which need coil with centre tap. you may have to modify tx oscillator to colpitts. Maybe someone with more knowledge can ring in.

this detector is 17khz motion, but i'm sure cscope coils are all the same motion/nonmotion, cscope were selling off all there small dd 17khz coils last year for 25 pounds each, at that price i'm suprised one has not been chopped open for us all to see.

it seems you need to make new board. i see marks of incorrect coarse repair or try of to mod.
its general problem - low qualification of the people in soldering and electronics repair.

The original silkscreen should give you a guide as to what it was before bodge job.

The board I'm tracing is for CS1/CS2M and not MX. This schematic attached matches the board component for component. Even the component names match!

Here are board pics for CS2M. The schematic is correct, at least so far i haven't found any errors.
