Does anyone have the schematic of the Pocket Uniprobe or a similar device?

I want to build something in the cold season

I used a spare barracuda legend board with a ferrite core and windings as a coil, and made a belt clip detector for pin pointing, it worked rather well, was a little bulky though. looks to be about the same as your thinking about.

      Thank you
I think the Barracuda has a too high power consumption

do less. increase pps to 3000-10000Hz. change mosfet on irfd113. use 1mH coil.

I used Teemos' detector circuit and PIC code for a pin pointer. Works very well and does iron/non-iron discrimination.

I know the circuit from Teemo, but I want to build something without a microcontroller.
kt- are you serious about this high frequency and inductance?

It would be enough to shorten the pulse length

why not? from Carl article --

The frequency range for this design is

900Hz to 2300Hz, and the pulse width

              can be adjusted from 10
              μs to 75μs. R1-

R4 can be modified for other frequency

              and pulse width ranges.

                Which design is meant ????

did you see another article of Carl?

it was about the barracuda, how do you get on the hh?

are you NOT able to change PPS, pulse width, sample width in a schematic? in what you see difference HH vs bara?

Sure, I can do that, at the HH, the signal generator is a 555, but you can easily find a calculator

At the Bara makes it the 40106, I have no idea, Mr. Grandmaster

LOL. in simplest CMOS logic you can not change nothing... sadly ((

I do not like your comments, they do not help me.

Concrete references do not come from you, you are not so great, how you think you are?

                            Shows this Picture your way?
