  • Hi

    Does anyone recognize this scheme
I need explanation and how deep in the ground it is?
Thanks in advance Click image for larger version

Simplest pulse induction md called "Pirat MD" but with DD coil instead of mono. Nothing special but may have some type of discrimination to iron, must be tuned for every minute and less sensitive than Hammerhead or Surf PI.

If any detector gets a coin deeper in the ground than the diameter of the coil you are lucky

Hach, that's a really crude and basic TR circuit, only good for teaching the fundamentals of IB metal detection. I'd guess it has very little depth.

Pretty much alike in general, but TX power pulse transistor is missing here. So at the end more IB than PI.

leave this fantazy to its author. depth matter is absent in this schematic.

The author said depth will be 80cm to 1m for big objects and 25cm for coins if I only use TX coil 0.5m wire diameter 20cm 100 turn and Rx coil 0.22m 300 turn diameter 20cm.
              The question is that possible??!

author can say what he wants. his holy right. if someone is a degradant that is not being corrected. impossibly.

I trust your opinion more than him.

ok. you direct me on a video, now i have full right to direct you on the book INSIDE THE METAL DETECTOR.
just read it and you will have a full possibility to catch own hype doing 'projects' and similar 'too fantastic! wow! 3 meters depth on gold!' videos.

begin from it, not from you did see a trash in global net.

Maybe, maybe not. How big is the coin? I doubt anyone who hasn't built it can tell you what the depth is.

                        I made it.
30to 50 cm for very big iron slide
                        5cm for coins
Wedding rings only 2to 3 cm
                        It's sucks!!!
I need simple schema that really give 25cm for coins.
                        Any ideas??
Thanks guys you always provide me with the best info.

Just "wishing" something would work better does not work, getting a coin at 25cm in the ground is not an easy task with simple circuits, even complex circuits dont always work

Please, I need scheme even if it's complex but trusted by this forum gurus.
I do not want waste my time do boards that's doesn't work
The soil where I live is mineralays.
Even if depth only 20cm I need only stable scheme that Realy work and guaranteed.
                            Is that so hard

Is that so hard to search the forum for projects? TGSL, IDX, Hammerhead, Minipulse, Baracuda etc.
