    i think you have to buy programmed micro from author. like always with a 'Simple PI kit with no hex'
    on dark side of the net.

      It doesn't appear to contain a microcontroller.

            You're correct!
            Well, that's silly. They numbered all the ICs as IC1-IC6, and then numbered the PIC as U1.

              The scheme of this detector reminded me very much of my version of SurfMaster-PI-micro.
