Tx generator circuit question

Has anyone seen other IB MD schematics made with this type of generator?

Yes indeed, I recall a "Buccaneer" metal detector by Andy Flind. It uses this exact tx circuit. The opamp is a CA3130. Don't think TL081 is good here. CA3130 is bimos chip(CMOS). Have a look at Buccaneer schematic.

I make this generator, better work with high Q faktor LC group. This in schematic is universal.

by the way, what is the software you use for simulations?

The software is Multisim. This is a real working scheme. I made a detector with this oscillator
