Your dual supply inspired me to modify other tesoro design which also using 7660 from now I can replace with 79XX. Thanks a lot !! The CA3140 is very unique chip.

Op04... Don't repeat the mistakes of others - 78xx series regulators are not the best choice for this power scheme. They require a difference between the input and output voltage of 2V. When the batteries are discharged by 0.2 each, the operation of the stabilizer will be unstable and noisy. Here you need to use the LDO and make the midpoint using the opamp. In this case, it is necessary to increase the battery voltage (if required +\- 7v) or apply a step-up DC\DC module. For example, how is it done in Whites 6000

Thank you SWL for pointing that out, so the battery voltage must be higher If I want to choose 78/79 or LDO even LM317/337 maybe filtering caps 4700-6800uf needed. Dual supply remind me of elector '81 design, though I didn't successful make it deep, Andre just showing his project done with 78/79 supply and I would like to use it for other tesoro design, he just put an example it will work with old fashion dual supply
