Seems your schematics are not Discovery 2, but Micronta 4003.

Discovery 2 has number 63-3004.

exactly! , i counted IC's, discovery 2 have 22 of it, so, quit difficult circuit and chematics above is very simple, but thanks anyway!

Micronta/Discovery SERVICE MANUAL!!!

The Service Manual for the Micronta 4003 VLF Discriminator Metal Detector is Cat. NO. 63-3003. It has a trouble shooting guide, Schematic, Parts Layout, Parts List. The order "Part Number" is MS6303003 from any Radio Shack if they are still in stock??? I got mine in 1996 from Radio Shack Unlimited 401 N.E. 38th Street Fort Worth, TX 76106. If I remember right I ordered mine at the local Radio Shack store in DEER PARK, WA 99006 USA. and it was shipped to my home address. I don't know if the Discovery??? guide is avaiable or not. You may try contacting Keith Wills in Texas he repairs and sells metal detectors and may have a copy of what you guys want.

Micronta 4003

I've a micronta 4003 VLF discriminator.
I got this, 4 years ago from my parents. I searched many place in many condition. I was sure of a place that have big treasur but bcs of my wrong understand the machine I didn't find it. This machine is good for just 10-15 cm deep survey. Thats all. If you want to have manuel of this machine you can visit

Since Pruva's link is long gone and the only thing I can find on the web is a text version of part of the manual, and my wife just found my original manual, I did a full scan of it and put the resultant .pdf file on one of my sites. View it or download it and enjoy. (It's a 5MB file.)
