    C-scope 5MX

    SONAR , I would like to see a Clear Big Photo of the PCB circuit board also . The field tests of that detector I read yesterday were pretty good . If you e-mail me a photo of the pc board , I will e-mail you the schematic. But do not post it here on Geotech or it will be deleted by the administrator. I am not going to build this one , I just want to see the component layout or parts placement .Some C-Scope Detectors are Great , but the alignment procedures on some C-scope designs are a big headache. So its not" build it and go hunting" , its build it and tweak on it for 8 hours. That is just my personal opinion. The c-scope 1220 model has a 3 page alignment procedure and if the particular model has a pre-programed PIC or atmel chip-Good luck !! Have a good Day !! Eugene , at [email protected]

      I make this photos long time ago with Zenith ET. It is not to good quality but ok. I can send to You this. Dont forget - this detector have a 2 boards and main 2 side board and elements hide many layers. Hell on PCBs!

      That was my fav' metal detector for coins jevelery. Its realy good machine! Total VACUUM CLEANER

            If someone have and can put these pictures of pcb here or send them to my email address [email protected], I would be grateful.

                  Translated in Bulgarian

                  The following text is a translation from Russian to Bulgarian. Can someone please translate it into English and to post me for the forum.

                  Нов подход към старите схеми. Как да се запази чувствителността.
                  от КТ315
                  Аз предлагам да се измени общоприетият принцип на дискриминация в прости схеми от типа Classic (в това число Tessoro и Fisher). Както е известно, настройката в посока повече дискриминация намалява рязко дълбочината на откриване. Предлаганият принцип отстранява този недостатък. Дълбочината на откриване не страда от дискриминацията. Двата канала за дискриминация на цветни метали сега реагират само на черен метал. Канал ALL METAL (който е за засичане), сега реагира максимално на цветен метал. Изменяйки в малки граници опорната фаза може да се нагласи така, че фазовото изместване да се забелязва на слух по силата на звука (всъщност получаваме ID на находката).
                  Накратко, това е апарат с нулева дискриминация. Звукът е хриплив, но и в изходната (началната) схема звукът от отпадъците се накъсва, тоест е хриплив. (Цветните метали звучат по-сочно и не се накъсват) Достойнството е, че измененията не са тотални, схемата не се изменя радикално. На рисунката е показан само принципа, още няма окончателен вариант.

                    Translation ->

                    New approach to old schemes. How to maintain sensitivity.
                    KT315 than I propose to amend the general principle of discrimination in the type of simple schemes Classic (including Tessoro and Fisher). As is known, setting discrimination towards more sharply reduces the depth of detection. The proposed rule eliminates this shortcoming. The depth of detection does not suffer from discrimination. Two channels for discrimination of non-ferrous metals now respond only to black metal. Channel ALL METAL (which is a hit), now the maximum response of ferrous metal. Changing borders in small supporting phase can be adjusted so that the phase shift can be seen by hearing the sound (actually get ID of finding).
                    Briefly, this apparatus is a zero discrimination. The sound was rusty, but the parent (initial) volume of waste scheme is nakasva, that is rusty. (Colored metal sound more juicy and not tear) Dignity is that the changes are not total, the scheme is not altered radically. The picture shows only the principle is still no definitive version.

                        You have to admit that the machine translation was pretty good.

                          Hi KT315
                          I had unclear circuit of CS5MX , but what's you uploaded is with good resolution.
                          Thank you very much.
                          Best regards.
