      Hi from George Thessaloniki.
      A very nice pulse detector is "delta pulse"
      with 45cm coil detect a gold coin to 50-60cm
      with 1x1m coil detect an iron plate 20x20cm to 170-210cm
      In the ground a metal boiler 50x100cm i detect it in 270cm !!!

        How many turns has the coil of 1x1 m and how many turns has the 45 cm coil?

          hi GEO.
          THE 45CM COIL HAS 16 TURNS WITH 1.5MM POLIKLONO R=660 OM
          THE 1X1 COIL HAS 13 TURNS WITH 2.5MM POLIKLONO R=1.5 KOM
          FREQUENCY 150-250HZ
          I=1.2AMP

            Hi. What are you mean R=660OHM or 1.5K. With 1.5mm or 2.5 mm wire the resistance must be 0.3 Ohm max. Who current is 1.2 A? The averange is 75-100 ma at my delta pulse.
            I tried a coil with R=0.3 Ohm and the detector was unstable so i connected a resistor 2 Ohm in series with coil.
            F=100 Hz
            Regards

                  The battery is sealed lead 12v/1.2A.
                  The current of delta pulse is 100-120mA.
                  The resistors is for coils dumping.
                  The IRF740 has a resistor in series 1ohm/1w to gnd.
