willrich, please stop using the Compass logo, it is a tradmark and only authorised people may use it.

I'm not trying to be nasty orfunny about this but they may take action against the forum if you continue and we don't want hassle.

I added the detector icons to the forum. If you click on the [More] link at the bottom of the "Smilies" box at the right of the reply box, a pop-up window will show the add'l icons.

The use of detector icons is already common on other forums, and no one has complained. And if a company complains to me, I will remove their icon.

Hi All,

OK Carl, no problems. I just didn't want us to risk any come-backs.

I used a Minelab logo on one post on another forum and they (Minelab) went ballistic, threatening breach of trademark etc. Funny how they picked on me and yet plenty of others out there use all sorts of logos??

Sorry if my post seemed confrontational, that was not the intention by ANY means.

As Compass have all but gone bust again I dont think they would be able to make a complaint stick anyhow :-/
