    Standard Bluetooth has too much delay, but Bluetooth with AptX-LL does not. And there is a good selection of AptX-LL headphones. The new Bluetooth LE-Audio standard is also fast enough, I made a test system with nRF5340 modules. But so far there are no headphones available, just earbuds. A cool feature is that LE-Audio can broadcast stereo to individual earbuds. I'm a strong advocate for stereo audio in detectors.

      The nrf 24l01 module is used in the Stalker IB project. Headphones with a similar module have been created. everything is working fine. There are no delays. Max4410 is used as an amplifier. Stereo sound is available. And what is the best way to use the possibilities of stereo sound? Should I output a signal from black metal into one earphone, and a color one into the second?
      What is the advantage of the NRF5340 chip over the NRF24L01 chip?

          Glad to see other options. NRF24L01 I think is for data transmission not for audio.
          I think my method is the simplest one.

            24l01 receives and transmits commands. Sound is not transmitted in its pure form.

              Hi pito,
              For my pinpointer I use FM transmitter on 87-88MHz and old model mobile phone with FM radio receiver.

                The board is universal - for piezo sound or FM transmitter. Also all parts have to be THD or SMD.

                  For near distances - up to 2 meters - no need of additional antenna.
