  • TIGER SHARK WIRING PROBLEM

    Greetings.
I have a Tiger Shark metal detector belonging to a friend with a problem connecting the main PCB to the control PCB. The connecting wires between the two PCBs—16 multicolored wires—were ripped apart during a battery change due to an unfortunate accident. Is there anyone who can provide me with guidance, including a photo, on how to connect these wires correctly? If possible, I would also appreciate a schematic to check that everything works.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Is that Microchip PIC or what?

It looks like some water mist or a wet finger touched that area. Now the tin and copper are reacting causing the corrosion. Soak the pcb in alcohol and scub gently with a soft toothbrush. Repeat until clean. This is common problem with water detectors.

Hopefully the pic chip will still function, otherwise as kit315 said "catastrophic "
