  • Is there any Tesoro Bandido II PCB ?

    Hi all,
I don't know if I must buy it second (or 3rd) hand on ebay or build it myself (seems not too complex to homebrew) just to try a tesoro design and it's performances in contaminated environments.

Is there any PCB flying around ?

    Best regards,
    Max

I did design up a PCB for the "Bandito ll uMax", if that is what your looking for. Its done on single sided PCB and Fairly Large, but I also built it and it worked OK.

      Wow

      Hi Mr. Chemelec,
I'll appreciate a lot if you can send it to my email (if you don't want/can't post it on the forum). My email is:

          Nice PCB !

          Hi,
thank you for the useful PCB and associated files (what's QR2.exe?).
I'll build Bandido II uMax after finishing my Goldscan IV clone I'm working at now in spare time. I know that Bandido II uMax is one very good unit out there and want to test it in different searching fields, e.g. ceramic fragments contaminated sites to understand how it can discriminate and avoid false signals.

          Best regards (and thanks again),
          Max

            Hi Max,

i'am interesting by your Goldscan IV clone PCB, could you send it on this forum or on my mail.
            Best regards

I save on computer your Bandido's split version:
Unfortunately There is an ERROR (Maybe More) on that and I Never Found it.
                ** It Doesn't Work.

                EDIT!
Hopefully Some day I will get Time to try to Find the Error/Errors.
It would be More Helpful if I had a Coil that I Knew worked properly.

The Origional Coil I made for my first bandido detector Worked OK, But than got Smashed when a Metal Vise fell on it.
Presently I don't have a coil for the bandido.

So than there is the Problem in trying to fix this board.
                Which isn't working Correctly?
The Bandido, The Coil or BOTH?

QR2 is My Registered PCB Design Program. OLD but Really a Good Program.

I Accidently Started to Upload it by mistake, than Stopped.
So it was only Partially there.

                  I have Now Deleted it.

                    Hi Mr. Chemelec and all,
I've just printed the PCB and take a look at traces using the placement part file as reference. In the next weeks I think to make the PCB using photo-sensitive process and, before I do that, I'll check all the traces and If I'll found any error or something wrong I'll post it on the forum.
I also use a pcb design software in my projects (currently the simple PCBExpress interface but it is ok for me).

Also thank you Esteban for the archive file that holds revised version.

                    For Dan129
I'm currently working on the GS4 pi clone using protoboard (3 at the moment) and mainly on sheet 3/3 (amp/meter/audio section) using protoboard also. At this moment I have timing section (ok) and diff. integrator/sampling (ok). Also realized the supply part that seems ok (but noisy).
I don't know if I can realize the PCB and in a good way. I think I can but seems a really hard challenge.
I'm developing GS4 for educational purposes (it's an hobby for me) and , as I wrote some days ago on another thread, I don't want to break any law , patent, right. I really don't know if GS4 is still in production or sell or only the new goldscan 5 is at now.
Anyway, I think that the right approach ,if I make the PCB design, to ask the author/owner (Eric Foster) for permission before posting anything.

                    Best regards,
                    Max

** If you have any problems in trying to make it, I could make you one at a reasonable price.
