modding White's TM 808

I've heard that Whites TM 808 can be moddet up to 6 meters depth. They modify antennas angle and increase power...

That is possible or that is scam?

Why whites dont do it????
If you increase the power then it is difficult to align the antenna (coils) so the result is the same .
I made a lot of experiments (most power..... better sensitivity......) without some good results because i had big problem to align the coils.
