        Sascho.
Is not seriously because: 1. the most of persons make jokes about it. 2. many don't know real principles: most the same of MD principles.

          Sascho..
thank you for the redraw.. but for me clear hand drawn shematics are OK

          Esteban:
          1. do not care about jokes.
          2. LRL principles: electrostatic, electromagnetic, IR, ionic, and more exotic ones...
WE KNOW ALL ABOUT IT.. WRITTEN HERE MANY TIMES
          3. Please post clear shematics (not building blocks), if you wanna get serious.

Sascho has all rights to call it as he wants to.

Hello! This scheme, how the smallest size coil can be screwy. With top quality small coils.

Yes CA3140 has been around a long time but they are still manufactured by Intersil. Digikey is a distributor and it is less than $2.00 apiece.

If you have never done business with Digikey, I recommend them highly. My only complaint with them, in the past I could order from a brand new catalog but they already raised some prices. Maybe I was last in line for the catalog and it really was old. But they're fast and no minimum order (in the US).

Please don't use the LM393 in place of CA3140 it probably won't do right.

Also, According to my Data Book on the CA3140, Pin 6 is the output, Not pin 1.
