    My congratulation to Ivconic.
    Oh no!
I had founds up to 80cm in soil with SMW so far.
Nice fat silver and bronze coins can detect at 40cm in soil.
Bad bronze coins usually at 10-20cm.
Iron spears and arrows even up to 60cm, depends on size.
SMW is very deep, maybe one of the deepest i saw so far.
Only drawback is not so good and accurate discrimination at deeper irons.
    Cheers!

    • Yes it is a nice metal detector but no two tones tests for diskriminatsiya.Ot I made sure that I was strong aparat.Na I love IGSL currently doing and will get the theme images.

        • Try Tesoro WITHOUT C4
It is responsible for the odd delays and shortening the pulses in response of Tesoro motion amplifiers, and actually has no function that you'll ever miss. Without the C4 it works dead-on, just as it is supposed to.
Magnum has no compression, and I don't like it at all.

          • Magnum heard signals with no delay.Tesoro make three signals. They hear second. This leads to gaps in the ground.

              • Very true, but you did not try to extract C4 and see what happens with Tesoro after that

                • Ivconic can you send me a correct version of the board 555. I do it because I see my moshten.Tryabva metal detector for ferrous metals only if you can recommend me another option and I'm grateful.

                  • Achieving Fe discrimination is easy - you just reverse the pins 5 and 6 of a comparator to set discrimination phase for Fe.

Emoxristov you should read this thread from a start, already is explained well.
BC547,BC327 pin assignment is always CBE.
Coil ("antenna") can be Tx=1mH, Rx=15mH. Tx cap is ~ 470+47nF (parallel).
Also Fisher coil can be used, 2.2-2.4mH for Tx and 9.6-11mH for Rx. Tx cap is ~220nF.

                            • Ivconic , Really transistors are located at the bottom of the board.
