    • The LM2937 is a 10V Low Dropout Regulator, so it would be best to replace with with a Low Dropout Regulator @ 10V.

              • yes, that is about the same as uA7810, but you will have to keep batt voltage above 12V

this would be good if you can get it http://www.ti.com/product/tl750m10

                  • Yes. You might experience instability at the end of battery life. LDOs are much more expensive, yet they give you more comfort in use.

                    • hi

                      help me please

                      i use MPSA14 instead of MPSA13 and L7810cv instead of LM2937

please tell me what is those pins:

                      M
                      0V
                      AGND

and put a Front and back picture from your smw3.1

                        • Yes, busy digesting
MPSA13 and 14 are basically the same thing for your purpose.

L7810cv is not a low dropout voltage regulator (LDO) and you should have at least 3V on top of the regulated voltage, in your case 13V or more. If it is not a problem - go for it.

i use 16v adapter for test but i have only noise on the speaker and q10 going hot

can you help me for this problem?

are you make this ver (smw3.1) ?

                            • No. I was considering making it with some changes, but the number of changes happen to be too many and I decided to develop a completely new thing.
Anyway, I like this project. It has the best front end of all the VLF detectors around.

Supplying a detector from 16V adapter is a bad idea. You should try batteries instead. Anything connected to mains is a great source of noise.
