XR-71 Sniffer PI schem+PCB

Hi,
I've started cause a person asked me if I had xr-71 pcb design. I answered to him the things you read above. I have one from a friend but cannot send to the person had request.

So I answered also that I'll open a new thread on schematic section to put the 2 other files I had about xr-71, that you already know, for him and all the others that need them.

Then aft said something about nothing new and I said that I have one "new" thing but that cannot post.

Your comments are right.
Next time I'll say nothing of what I have but cannot share.

Hi All . As i saw here the file that Max attached here (pcb.pdf) is the original pcb for XR71p. This is the file that Aban sent to me at Protell 99SE Format.
So now Don't write to Aban for the file. The file is here.

I have one Original and has the pcb that Max sent here (pcb.pdf). Components name match with the protel file that you can find here

Not sure if i understood:do you mean the sprint layout file is the same as original PCB? as i mentioned, the PCB design is strange,not well designed.I may consider to make a new single side PCB from diagram...
Can you tell me what do you think about this detector?

Hi,
I am searching for the XR-7 diagram. I have built a long time ago the DPB2010,(wich is the same)but it have never worked correctly.I would like to compare components values, i think something is wrong on the 2010 diagram-probably near the 556 ic.

KT315 question

You posted the board on the left a few years ago in post #7. What is this additional piece (in yellow box) added to this pcb? I have the pcb on the right, but I would be interested in the other. Do you have the schem and pcb layout?

The three terminal regulator in the yellow box is a uA7915uc -15 V negative voltage regulator. That could be the circuit supplying the -12 V to the circuit.

It's not hard to see how it could just be dropped off with the addition of another battery (if that was the intent here). Not my choice to do it that way but half-understandable.
