Hi,
Ok.I now.Sorry!I dont why I cant post zips?
I will post better.
But I will ask you now for most inportant only.
You tell me that I can use simple switch like in original TGS and separete for PP but how to conect this?I see in your design that you use some kind of galete switch?
Also I dont understand on plate A:
X30?STX?In TX sector 12V point?also there NAP_OSCIL?MENIC?C3,C6,C12 why there are 4 boxes?points 03,04,05,01,02 what are they?
Plate B
Where is R3?What are P1,P2,P3,P4 points? And what mean otocenej!!!!?
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks!
I am using the original set up switch like you pointed here! But where to conect the on/off switch for pint point? In the picture on your site what switch did you use?
Pinpoint is SW5 on PCB-B (F20). When you "press it" = connect to -5V, pinpoint is activated. All other functions is disabled.
I am using 3-stage switch all-metal/disc/pin-p (e.g. I dont use 2-stage all-met/disc and pin-point button) - because I am using pinpoint for fast reconnaissance of terrain, for example if I am searching large objects etc.
Pinpoint have a memory of last rank(count) of terrain, so you can compare it with other all vicinage. Sometimes it is better than dynamic searching. For "learning" of new "terrain point" simply switch to DISC and back to PIN-POINT.
Hi,
Ok!
I will report here very soon!
Now I understand!I wire as original and only add separate PP on/off switch!??!?!
So I can switch PP when I am in disc mode and I can switch it on also in ALLM mode?
Thanks.
I will try your coil this days!
Have you ever made DD for TGS ADVANCED?
It was tested with DD, but concentric is better for me.
U can switch PP in all modes. When you press PP button, detector store in memory last "status under coil" (I dont have suitable term) - then you can make differrential measurment and compare neighbourhood with this point. You can listen middle tone and frequency goes up for non-ferrous and down for ferrous metals. Its good for searching trap of drain
Hi,
Thanks.
So I finaly get it.
But cant understand this part:
You can listen middle tone and frequency goes up for non-ferrous and down for ferrous metals. Its good for searching trap of drain
?
I will try to make your CC coil this days.So I am wondering did you have data for bigger 3CC coil?Like 27,32,37,45?
What is the size of the formers that the coil should be wound on?
Number of turns etc.?
Thanks
p.s.TGS ADVANSED will run very soon.
Hi,
how are you?
I am still working on this unit.
Can you tell me what is the former size of TX,RX and Comp.Coils?
Also what is the wire d of Comp.Coils?
Every coil is separate or I shouldnt cut the wire, just wind next?
I will prepare a couple of pictures very soon.
Thanks for your help.
p.s.on pictures in your site of making coil I see that you use plastic 90 degrees parts to conect coil to shaft! My question is how you keep it fixed in the position you want????I mean for diferent terains you need diferent angle?
COMP : 11cm 25turn,
RX: twisted over COMP coil, 200turn
Every coils is separated, final compensation is made with one or two "last" turns over RX. Use some english instruction for it, it is same.
End of TX coil is connected to begin of COMPENSATION coil, end of COMPENSATION is connected to "last turn" for final compensation of coil. All of it is TX coil and is connected to TX oscilator (PCB A, X3 and X4). RX coil is connected to RX pre-amp (pcb A, X1 and X2).
For the project I cant understand which wire d to use for compensation coil?
And what you mean with this:
RX: twisted over COMP coil, 200turn?
Until now I were thinking that I shoud wind TX,RX and comp coil and glue, shield and then fix in former?
Also how you null this coil?
Why is this last turns of compensation coil wind later?Shouldnt in be in same faradey cage as compensation coil?
Thanks for helping me.
I dont have solderer right now.For last 2 months I fiered 5!! Can find good one!My PCBs are ready and I have all the components!
So soon I will test!
Thanks
Sorry, I have too many work now and make a good coil need a good instruction. I dont have time to translate all my Czech instruction about it, it is complex problem, so please use any English instruction for concentric coil.
I am not using "classic" faraday shield over all coils, I am using alu-foil strip between coils and over the coils, all connected to ground. RX and COMP is wired on same plastic ring, first COMP,then alu-foil,then RX and alu-foil. All coils (RX,TX,COMP) is glued to half of "holder" and then it is "nulled" with last few turns. This last turns is not shielded.
Hello,
I am very greatefull that you share your experiance with us.
Now that you have no time but hope that you will keep helping here.
For me English instructions are not so understadeble!
When you explain me like so far I make in my head something like simulation and later when building it I am more efective.
Please keep in mind that I am not LIKE other names on this forum that have read all the literature and other stuffs.
I have other interests that are more inportant, but PROSPECTING gets me and now I am adicted!
YOU DONT ANSWER WHAT WIRE SHOULD I USE FOR COMPENSATION COIL?
TX=0.40 RX=0.25 but what is the Comp=?
Have you made sucsesfull bigger coil?
THANKS
Now as I think again.....how did you use this alfoil stripes?Just put one to separate Comp,Rx and finalComp?I cant get it?
But you are right! The coil is the most important thing,to make good coil you have to now what are you doing!@
How is Sabre Digital going on?
Did you have progress?
