i would think you can use just about any n channel fet but it does need to have a fairly high voltage rating

i have used bs250 for the p channel fet and it works ok note that the published circuit has the fet in backwards

This is FBS Tx, and 2100 is a PI with some silly timing scheme not shown in this picture. Good news is that both patents for FBS and silly timing scheme of SD series are expired, so have fun copying.
