          • My respect for all,
I'm started building the SD2000, purchasing the parts for that, one of the items was the oscilloscope, I've found one with analog bandwidth: 0 to 200KHz, can this cover the SD2000 signals when testing?
            Please can anyone advise?

            Thx
            J.Anis

            • Take my advice and pick another schematic as for a start - Hammerhead, Barracuda or MPP.

If you have NEVER built a detector or basic electronics circuit then do NOT try building this SD2000. It is a complicated circuit.

One of the simpler PI detector or the TGSL is a much better first project choice and even these will be a challenge to get working without experience building circuits.

                • 200kHz is a toy. oscope is needed if you meet a problem, if not you do not need to buy it.

очень много понтов от майнлаба по поводу complicated circuit.
a lot of show off from moneуlab about complicated circuit.
johnny released the sd2000 and anyone also can.

remember, we are living in 21 century and all information must to be available -!!!
ML must give us full information, not kt315 must give you the info -!!!

                    • My respect for everyone,
I've build some PI such as DELTA pulse 1,2 and 3 even I'm a little familiar with programming, I' m interested to SD2000 cause the latest PI listed before have very low sensitivity to gold.
MINELAB is a very interesting project so I'v to tray, hope the support for all of you expert people ;-)

KT315, all your supports are appropriated, thanks again,
What I was thinking about (for using oscilloscope), is on how can I adjust the three potentiometer from receive section in the main board of the SD2000 (those who has 25 turns).
Please can you advise about this?

                      Thx
                      J.Anis

Do you have pictures (or pdf) with better quality?

There's nothing for free everyone has to work hard at least as far as I'm concerned nobody gives me anything for free....

I think that your affirmation is wrong. The diagrams of SD2000 which "inspired" you was free (great work of a great man who agreed to share the information).
I can understand that you don't want to share your work on SD2000, but why did you bother to post the low res. pictures if you don't want to explain the improvements?
                                Best regards.
