Cool! I think the T3 is a common!

Some parts seem to be with it.

Switches are put were the pot are.

This photo Sucks but it's the best I can do with what I have.

I did contact Garrett and asked for the schematic.

I fully expect them to do the Proprioritary thing and not give it up.

      Bummer!

      Hello James,

We are not allowed to give out schematics, it is consider private information. We still are able to work on the American S3, so we can’t give out those drawings.

      Thank you,

      Subject: American S3 TR/VLF Detector

      Hello !

      May Name is

I collect Vintage detectors and actually use them.

I have a American S3 detector I would vary much like to put back into service.

Would it be possible to obtain a copy of the schematic of this older machine?

I have no plans on reproducing it in a commercial manner, or costing you any trade secrets.

This machine is some 26 years old.

Any Help you could pass would be most great full.

      Jim

Looks like you'll have to back-engineer it yourself.
Then you can post the schematic here on Geotech.

That will teach them for trying to keep a 26 year old design old a secret.
