I have a Compass 71B and I am looking for a schematic or at least the ID of the ICs used on the circuit board. The part numbers are sandpapered off the chips.
I have the 77B schematic that is posted on this board and the ICs are: 741, 3080, and 2 x 1458. The 71B looks pretty similar although the tuning circuit is different. I was tracing the board today. I got mine working but I'd like to know the ID of the chips in case a future repair is needed. Are they the same as the 77B?
