When I was checking the schematic with my eagle opened up , there sure were a lot of differences and I was thinking how many revisions were made in that first year of production ?? When using this Eagle I sure was impressed by the accuracy of the target ID !! I will e-mail you the schematics I have , if I find your email address .

        Eagle mods

Hi, I can not tell what Eagle I have but it has sticker with software rev.
If you can post/send schematic I will try to make some changes to this design to make it go deeper - after all it has nice futures. I will connect bigger coil and bust TX power and I will let You know how it feels.
        Regards,

          What a pity
I would like to look orginal schematic this detector. I have this one circa five Years and i didn't seen schematic of this one -even i repaired this detector few times. And i had to use schematics of Spectrum and the others under repair. It was very onerous

            Eagle I inside

This is what I want to play with - if You have schematic it would add a lot of flavor. I think it is Eagel 1.

              Exactly, this is Eagle I
I'm looking for schematic this model, unfortunately till now without success
Yours it's older model as mine

What does it mean "i would add a lot of flavour"?
What do you want to do with this detector?
Do You think only about change of standard coil BM800? It's no problem this detector working great with BM950 and this one should work OK with HotShot or another too.

                  High power VLF

Being schematic literate and having schematics it is possible to read designers limitation and removed all budget oriented compromises. 20 years ago it was a big concern about battery capacity and usage – this days due to mobile phones this part of application became very advanced and affordable. There is no magic – if there is no fabrication of deep going magnetic field there will be no deep target detection.
I am about to complete my practical research about 6 m range detector field requirements. At this moment I can experience that if You are able to detect 25c US in the air in disc. mode from above 50 cm then your detector has enough magnetic field to detect large object up to 6 m deep. As I see it, there is a need for shielded TX and RX enclosures other wise the EM field is so strong within the unit that it will be received inside the box and overwrite week signal from the RX coil. The same reality will occur in the cable so to remove cross talking effect within the cable it is needed to go with two shielded cables. All cables inside the unit must be shielded as well. To apply all above principles within Eagle design and burst output power for low freq. signal there is no need for electronics degree (comes handy anyway).
Being not aware of above reasons and attempting to burst output power will result in lower sensitivity and it was causing popular misperception that more power will not provide more depth. One step at the time … so do we have schematic to trade for step two?
                  Regards.

                    Eagle un-stable problem

"My machine runs perfect for one hour . Then Becomes un-stable and I turn it off . "
Hi Eugene52, I have bought my Eagle as not working and it had very similar problem.
I have noticed that a big electrolytic cap next to coil connector has leek on PCB. I have got it replaced and all other electrolytic and tantalum on the way (I replaced with rated for higher voltage). It may need some refurbishing in this area after 20 years of ageing. Result - no more problems.
                    Regards.

Whites Eagle first version repair issue

                      Hello

i have a Whites Eagle first version and a problem with the screen and buttons to control the eagle. I need the schematics to reconstruct the plastic curcuit board... now i cant control anything :-\

the schematics which where posted on this board a different from my eagle version. Maybe some can help me out with another schematic version.

                      thx for your help
