I was searching the archives here today , I only found less than one page of information , with very little about the dual Frequency "Beach Hunter" ID model !! The plastic case seems small in size , so could it be possible they used the 505-0170-B circuit board ? I thought I saw a 707-something board posted somewhere ???? The only thing I am hoping for , is this model does not have a Micro-controller like the DFX or XLT . It would be great to find out if they just used a wide band oscillator and stuck a 3 khz and 15 khz bandpass filter on The RX circuit , or do they use , or filter the TX or the RX Harmonic Frequency ??
How do they solve the Negative salt-water effects on a VLF design , especially a Dual-Frequency ???? ........Since this Metal Detector is still in production , I do not want a schematic , but good educational answer's are very welcome
