  • TGSL-1265 Gift Pack

    Hi all
please note that in the schematic there are many 4.7 microfarad polarized capacitors but in TGSL1265.LAY they are 10microfarad so which one is correct another thing the value of resistor goes to 10 microfara is missing so please help
i forget to tel you where is 5volts ?
    best regards

About capacitors i already answered you on pm.
-5V are actually -6.22V which you will get from chopper that generates negative voltage (4024, 2N2907,2N2222, resistors, elcos and diodes)...
Oscillator runs at approx. 14kHz (depends of a TX coil inductance). From collector of TX transistor 2N2907 signal goes via 2N2222 buffer to 1. pin of 4024. On 12. pin you must get 1/2 of frequency, in this case approx. 7kHz. That signal is passed via resistors to bases of another 2N2907 and 2N2222 (2N3906&2N3904, BC557&BC547, BC177&BC107...etc...etc..) so those two with 2 diodes and 2 elcos (220uF) forming a sort of chooper that generates negative voltage here.
Usually i get from -6.10 to -6.50 volts there. But -5 volts are noted in schematic simply cose in ExpressSch there is no any simillar symbol, closest was -5 so i used it, and was to lazy to edit symbol designator.
It supposed to be implied that voltage is -6.xx volts but not exact -5v...ha,ha,ha...
