Of course, dear friend, I built this detector, and sencivel.achei several coins, jewelry, etc ...

        Good ... ..
L1 = ferrite rod of about 5 cm long by 0.8 or 1 cm in diameter. (Can break with one hit very careful if you have more difficulty in getting one of this size)

L2 = a coil of diameter 15 cm with 28 AWG wire with 15 volvos together ok.

        My tests with this detector:
        # operating system ........ beats two osciladorespor change of inductance.

        # current consumption at rest .......( 5 mA)

        Food ..... # 9V (battery)

OBJECTIVE # detected ...... ferrous and non ferrous, aluminum, copper, gold, etc ...

        # Diameter coil l2 ....... 15cm

        # Type alert ...... sound speaker

        # sensitivity ........ currency (5cm)
        ....... can of beer (30cm)
        ....... pot 30cm (80cm or more)

note: I noticed that while the older the more buried metal sencivel is the detector.

        thank you very much

the CV or variable capacitor used in the setting and pelomenos 100pF, can be used CV type used in medium-wave radios are problems.

            Grateful for the space friends.

                hehehehe ....
"more settings" = at least = "to the value of 120pF"
to pass this value has to rebuild new calculations for the coil.
                sorry my English friends ok
