                In BRN PI-1 project quartz resonator frequency 4 Mhz is very small for good precision of detecting. Must be 20 Mhz or more. I not see in this project adjusting the following parameters: main delay. second delay, sample width. It is very simplified variant of existing project. Therefore it can not have good parameters (including depth).

                        Yes, it is possible. But it will be necessary to make changes to program and anew it to compile. Besides it is necessary to replace capacitors in a circuit of a crystal. See datasheet for MCU. The analog converter (used by the author) has low precision (resolution) of conversion. Russian use another principle. It allows to receive very high resolution. It is checked myself. And I use this principle in my project. In my project crystal have frequency 40 MHz and resolution is 0.25 microseconds.

                          i am busy this time with pi Projects from book itmd
                          but brn pi 2nd Version is on the top of my list

                          one of this this simple Projects which works from the start and only Need some Little improovements

                              hello Reza,

                              i have not checked performace for 2nd vers.

                              at last i build a 70cm round coil for vers. 1 with 12turns 0,6mm wire gives me 350µH (like a big Frame coil on on plastic water pipes but round)

                              i plan to take some scope shot on this detector
                              so where can i measure the interesting things
                              pulse Timing
                              damping curve
                              others....

                              i want to understnad how it all works, the circuit itself seem very easy Performance is good in relation of These few parts on the pcb

                                hello. i have a big problem. i buiuld this project exactly that scheme. i record brn pic 876a but the win pic, win800 and ic prog said programing error code. is on windows xp and the lcd display only appears in black screen in the superior part
                                help me please. the hex is rong?
