It's an old White's rod. The coil is built from scratch.

Yes, I experimented with the GEB mod beforehand, with limited success. It seems like I could not get the range of adjustment correct, maybe because phasing was not correct to begin with. I took the idea from one of the previous posts and since I had a handful of TL061 IC's I just made a new PCB and added it . Maybe not optimal but it works just fine.

I did have a little trouble in the Russian to English translation so I thought that I would post here as well.

KT315, in our original design, are you using a tapped TX coil?

How did you null the device? Did you look for a certain phase shift at pin 1 of U1A (in reference to pin 1 of JP4) or did you just adjust the coils to minimum voltage at the 1/U1A?

Orbit, yes VS is only White's' All-metal mode with some mods... but people who done VS wrote the disc has a place to be... only you have to get some experience at field... a money signal is different vs ferro...
