As you know I cloned the Pulse Star a very long time ago it also has many components but there are no advantages relative to a device with many fewer componentsa device with many fewer components, the whole back plate it comes down to charging who has flaws because it discharges the battery, and I tested Lorenz x three in all things it pairs him a device that does not have as many components such as the device I called Pulse Scan Live , Tomb Raider two absolutely pairs the pulses star two that's why I'm interested in this Lorenz personally i think that it's a lot complicated and there are no advantages over Puls Star two or maybe I'm wrong ?.

Like i said the video shows a diferent device or you made it wrong somewhere. The LP5 audio is not tick-tick 555 timer like audio but a very pleasant tone audio arround 1khz if i remember correct. And orbit is right. The device has lots of parts but has no real big difference compared to other designs with less parts. Honestly if you dont want to play with this schematic, you know spend some time with it, draw a board, experiment, for fun, i see no reason for attempting to build it.

In the past i had 2 of them on my bench to change batteries, and pulse star 2, (the german one)
so i had the ability to compare them , they are similar in their use , but they are different in their performance, LP 5 are far better.
After "mee60" posted the schematic , i build the very fast mosfet driver , the frontend, and the nice
sound, to test them. Sound on the video posted is original ,its ok, maybe performance are not the best,but sound has to do whith the sensivity of the detector.
sound is different from other PIs , because of the 50-50 duty cycle that sound better and stronger.
thi is one of the best schematics on the net, there are not many good schematics,just these...
1st sd2000 , 2. LP5 ,3. GS4-5 , 4 SUPER SCAN .
Does anyone have the timing diagram of the LP5 ???
