my lorenz project first op amp output is not stable
im secure coil barameter is a mistake
my hand make coil is :
45cm / 0.60 mm / 25 turn / 2 ohm / 635 uh
and
45cm / 0.60 mm / 17 turn / 1.8 ohm / 510 uh

i need a lorenz coil parameter

is he opened lorenz coil ?

just add a resistor parallel to coil, start form 2k then go down to the lowest value where the coil not rings so much

as i know from other coil we x-rayed here the wire for tx coil or monocoil is not such big Diameter
try better 0,3 or 0,4mm

the inductivity under 400µH

hi all
i can make lorenz puls 5 of on the original electrical board.
this work is very hard because all part number ( ic and transistor and diod and ... ) was clear.
very difficult drawing circuit schematic because there 2 electronic board and was bilateral . but i succeeded draw schematic .
so over the schematic i got part number and i got Op-Amp number with accounts.
so i make new pcb designing wihh altium software and make pcb and assemble part .
im happy
my project is true .yes.my metal detector (( lorenz LP5)) is worked.

when my project to end in next level
i to obtain pulse time with oscilloscope for example i to understand mosfet pulse wait and mosfet pulse frequency so to obtain delay pulse and delay pulse wait and other pulse ..
so i make this pulse with atxmega64au micro controller and use ads1232 analog to digital converter .
very good projects
i am successful.

mee60 you might get good advice on the schematic, there are many smart people here, just give some material to think of.
So far lots of PCB pictures and no electrical schematic we've seen. There might be errors which are hard to find out alone.

im finished the lorenz lp 5 circuit alone. and someone in here not help me .
reading my old post .
i have very problem but alone to finish all problem.
but so i have one problem i dont no original lorenz coil , i need a original parameters lorenz coil (uH and Ohm)
i used 400Uh , 2 Ohm 45 and 35 cm mono coil , its good and not problem but i think a original parameters is beater . or pic of one the lorenz coil opened cover is very good.
