Hi Sharaf you would like to find a Pharaoh's tomb, with complete equipment for the afterlife. This pics are from Russian forum MD4u.RU. It's a classical T/R locator. That's right for you:

Hi, i wish i could but i cannot pay for shipping or i'm afraid i havenot thousands of dollars to have a good detector , so my attitude now is to build a MD not to buy it except for a good offer and payment is after delivery.
            thanks

              Sharaf,
To settle you down a bit, and educate you a bit, I will be blunt, as I have studied Egyptology, and I know what an statue and an obelisk are, and for your information, a "metal detector", finds just that, METAL, it does not find stone statues or stone obelisks! Only METAL!!!

It will find metal statues, and metal obelisks, within its detectable range. I believe there are metal statues there in Egypt, but so far, I have not heard of metal obelisks.

Further more, a metal detector is limited to distance to the buried object, and limited to its size. The smaller the size, the harder it is for a metal detector to find it. The deeper it is buried, the more likely one should sit in a Cairo bar and have a good cold drink instead, as depth and size are the enemy of a metal detector....

And you can go to the department in Cairo, that licenses such searches, and ask them for their help. If there was a machine that could find a buried tomb, a buried statue, a buried obelisk, do you not know, they would have it at that Egyptian museum. If there was some magical detector, that could find antiquities, do you not know, they would have covered that desert sand, and found everything by now? But alas, there is not any such antiquity detector! Only metal detectors, that are limited in what they can see and detect in the ground!

Now there are machines that search for a tunnel or disturbed soil, again, ask about those at that Department of Egyptology in Cairo. I think they would be very happy to explain it to you....

There is ground penetrating radar (GPR). But difficult to build and the results tend to fall short anyway imho. Plus I think Egypt is very strict on who does digging.

i know you are right regardless your tough words but i'm living in EGYPT and whatever your knowledge about egyptology i'm sure i have more information than you as its my country history,in the last few years some engineers in EGYPT discover a metalic (GOLD) statues and obelisks during their digging to extend a natural gas line which means they found them at depth lower than 5 meters actually they dug for more than 20 meters down to extract them but we only need the discovery which has been completed within ony 5 meters.
finally i'd like to thank you for your attention

3 meters is a lot, but in the desert is not.

                            hi

there is no such a device that can detect at a 5m deep
i have build over 4 kindes of metal detectors forthe turkish gold boxes i guess you know that and you know what i'm talking about (i mean the gold boxes )
and there is no result altho in the large coils
large coils can detect large objects and more deeper but the ststue or the gold box are so small at comparing them at that distance
so now becouse it is forbiden to enter a mattal detector i am now building and selling metal detectors and it is more suitabel to me and i guese to you
you can change your job to another one
                            if you want ?
                            take care

                              Super Sensitivity PI Metaldetector

                              Hi,

We are company which develops and manufactures metal detectors. Our best PI metal detector is Gold Fish 2 PRO SE. Metal detector is based on well know metal detector Pulse Star II PRO (see : www.tb-electronic.de), but have improved sensitivity and stability. Typicali it offer over 25-40 % more stability and deepth.

                              Metal detector set contains:
                              - Main electrical unit with integrated power source 12V @ 2,3Ahr
                              - Detachable coil 1m X 1m
                              - Automate charging unit 220 V~ / 12V
                              - Operating manual

End price is 620 EUR (~ 815 USD) (including GoldFish 2 PRO SE, detachable coil 1x1 m, automatically charger unit 220V, operating manual in English)

If you need additional coil 38 cm with detachable holder (price is 120 EUR) (~ 162 USD).

Full metaldetector review is available on :

On you tube you can see a real test :
                              http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxn35b1adx8

Big targets are detected up to 6 meters with 1x1 meter coil.

We export to the whole world , using DHL, TNT, EMS !
