Has anyone used the emfad and found they work? The person that gave the the schematic is using his and is working fine. Here in the US there are no towers transmitting the low frequencies for the EMFAD. Anyone here using the unit now?

                Hi Tim.
A friend worked with Emfad for long time but he did not found anything.
So he say that Emfad is good only for very big objects.
I want to modify one so i to work it at 20Khz because near to 20 Khz there is a strong signal. So maybe to has the ability to locate a big treasure (big as a barrel).

                Regards

My friend bought one here in the states and it never worked! He sent it back and they said it works fine there. All they wanted to do is sell him another one! It does act like a mag when you are near large iron. But go to as deep as they claim I have not seen or heard of any evidence.

                    Hi Tim.
Did you tried it near to big objects of copper??
A friend that made a Emfad clone, told me that it is very critical at the adjusting of the AGC line.

                    Regards

I had a schematic sent to me and it looks good. I don't have the unit anymore to verify it. But do you think your friend will email me his to compare? Any help with the tuning would be great. Also if he can tell me what frequency he is tuning to. Here in the states as far a I understand there is only one around 25khz.

                      Regards,

                      Tim

                        Hi Tim.
Give me your email so my friend to email the schematic to you.
At frequency near to 40Khz he has some act of big metalic object at some depth. When this station closed, he found another station at 150khz but nothing....
I heared that at high frequency the Emfad can't detect at big depth.

                        Regards
