    Hi,

Corrected schematic and bill of materials.

Traced with CircuitMaker 2000 pro SP1.

if you wish to obtain this sch. in circuitmaker format send me an e-mail.

    Re: Caps

I still don't agree with some of the cap values as discussed in the following link:

      OK,

How to know which gave the good values?

      Carl ? Gary ? You ?

      CARL please, help us.

        Re: Caps

        These are my notes.
It is possible that my Cutlass II was different, but I measured with good equipment OUT of circuit. I think C18 is important to get right.
Notice the above would make IC9a the same values as IC9b.

        C16 10pF
        C10 4.7pF
        C13 4.7pF
        C14 4.7pF
        C18 4.7pF
        C28 10nF (.01uF)
        C29 10nF (.01uF)

          Re: Caps

I had trouble measuring the disputed caps, so I stand behind my numbers, but WAY behind! I probably attempted to measure these in-circuit, I don't recall, but I do remember my HP meter wouldn't give a reading at all. My BK 878 did.

Mr. Rat's values are probably correct, as I expect the Cutlass was set up the same way. And I don't want to tear my Bandido back apart again to remeasure these.

            Re: Caps

I'll take mine apart again soon because I wanted to try a large cap on the negative suppy or at the chips. I'll post the results when I do.

              Re: Caps

              Hi Goodrat,

Unfortunately I do not have the schematic of the Cutlass to help myself.

                Re: CutlassII

It's the same but without U6 and some different switches to get all metal mode.

                  Re: Caps

I really believe the values I posted are close to correct, But Unless someone Actually Measures these caps, OUT OF CIRCUIT, we will never know for sure.
It is Impossible to get a correct Capacitance Reading with them in Circuit.
