HI all I am after a schematic if anyone has one please ,also what is the meter that is used in the machine Ua ? volts? mine has busted so i need to source a modern equivalent to bodge in .Thanks
uA is micro Amperes. 1 uA = 0,000001 A = 0.000001 A. you may be need 50 or 100 uA meter. thinking they are very used, common used, in such case. good luck.
HI .THanks i had a 500uA lying around but although it appears to work fine the needle is over "finiky " on a signal the needle flies to the approx position it should but far faster than the original .When the signal disapears it flies off to almost the other end of the scale before returning to the center. In a field with a electric fence you could hear the "ticks" but the old meters needle never moved on this replacement one it does jerk a few mm so is definately not the correct one
I can only describe the needle as "loose" jerking the meter manually has the needle moving far more than the old one did.
As i will have to buy a new meter (no tandy's around here) online can anyone confirm what the exact specs of the meter is please
