Hi all i am anew member in this forum and i am not profinational in electronics but it is interesting to me .............please help me to build my own MD which is called proscan , h have its schamtic and pcb but it is not cleare to me and i am not sure it will working in addision there no enough information about its coil.....so i will post the schametic and pcb soonly so i wont to simplify this project for me ............GREAT THANKS

I have moved your post from the Whites Surf PI thread to a new thread.

The ProScan detector requires a coil of 20cm diameter with 25 windings of insulated copper wire (~22AWG).

soory i failed to contact with the aouther so please post me with someones who are concering with proscan other than the aouther like you,here below i had post the pcb and its part list of the project but as i said perviously iam not a profinational in elctronics so some parts are not clear i remarked it with ??? . Also shall illustrated the follwing:

• audio jack output
• threshold
• sensevity
• tune switch
• on and off

lastly how can increase the pentration depth.. ...............THANKS

I have not built this detector, but in the description (http://www.geotech1.com/pages/metdet...can/index.html) it states:
Variable Resistor (mini VR)
P1,P2 = 100K
P3 = 10K

Thanks for reply , i see ,,,, should post me one of the MD that you built and know it from A to Z include PCB, part list and detailed informations of coil. No longer need for schametic that becuase i cannot deel with drawing pcb by softwire.
