              posting of spam

and besids that it has an attatched pop up to a dating / porn site with it , and when you click on the pic for bigger , it then takes you to a porn / dating site.

yeah right , thanks for posting that "advert" on here , i thought this was a forum for metal detectors , not for spammers to post links !!!

Click on a link given by epitopios. It is OK.

Pic is from one of imagehost not from electronic hobby site. But I can open pic OK too.

Are talking about the link in post #1?
Even when I turn off Adlock Plus and Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon in my browser, I do not get any pop-up links, and certainly none that go to a dating / porn site. Am I looking at the correct link? Please tell me which link you are referring to, and I will remove it.

the schematic at the when clicked opens bigger pic of schematic +tries to do a pop up going to porn / dating site, and when you click on the schematic on the page that has opened it goes to porn / dating site.
the link also does the same , at least , it does on my pc , which , is cleaned everyday.
just checked this second , differant page than before , but still similar content , suspect it's a link to a "page holding" or "shuffle" link.

I have removed the image in post #1.

Using Firefox on Linux (with pop-up blocker disabled) I could not duplicate the problem, nor with Google Chrome on Windoze. With IE the pop-up blocker asked me if I wanted to temporarily enable pop-ups. After doing so, nothing appeared. However, I could see the pop-ups using both Epiphany and Sea Monkey browsers.

I would suggest that you enable your pop-up blocker.

sorry to be a pain ,
if i wanted to see that stuff i would go and look for it,
however , i'm on here to look at metal detector related stuff , so expect to only look at that , don't get me wrong , nothing wrong with "easy on the eye , graphic images" ,
just a bit disapointing when i thought i was going to see an interesting schematic ,

supose i would also be disapointed if i clicked on a naked woman , only to see the schematic of a radio .

anywho , same thing is happening on google image search , quite often , click on a circuit diagram only to find it goes to one of those fake antivirus pages or an import bride site.

                        cheers.

Don't forget that you can also report any spam (or other offensive stuff) by clicking on the red triangle at the top right of the post.
With AdBlock enabled I don't get to see the pop-ups or the adverts.
