Just checked the thread after long time.
I don't know if it helps you, but i checked pim2 in simulator with the "fixed" hex file.
The threshold value can be changed in the main screen with the buttons.
Value goes from 0 to 20.
Thanks for clarifying regard to the "threshold" mode.
We try to resolve the problem.
I will keep you informed.

Hello Bernte!
What was the price for the microcontroller?

you can buy pre-programmed µcontroller from them, latest firmware is v10
detector is not bad, desgin ist easy and powerfull if you look the parts
also it are not many parts, pcb is small and easy to build
so the last things i have to to is debugging my version so that i works with lcd, the supply part is ok but i suppose the data lines are changed betwenn my board layout and the latest firmware
maybe i will look at the other concept pcb (the bigger one) and copare how the lcd is connected there

i think yes, it is very powerfull
pcb is very compact and well designed
but i am not sure if i get get it working with hacked hex file
i bought my preprogrammed Controller from lugatek 45€
if you can do it alone you would save 40€
i hope i can test it alos with hacked Firmware, but i am not good with atmels. pic flashing is much easier
