        Hi,

this schema is funny (ohhh... poor IRF 740! )

and ,,little'' other than PCB. For example IRF 740 power-circuit, etc.

        Brg

Hi Rumcajs. I am not the author of this detector... this schema is not funny to me... on the contrary very interesting...you would probably put IRF9640... what would you change here is (not to be funny this schema...)?

            Dear maikl,

for example the CD4001 output maybe small to driving this power-fet; one transistor or opto-coupler is good way; the drawman locating 2200uF capacitor is very far from this FET -- but logically (easiest think) and phisically (higher current) better than the distance is smaller (see PCB), etc. My first comment is sended for the drawing error and i m no biting you.

            Good mounting

The author of this detector is Sacho from Bulgaria. He recommend the following modification for the detection of "fine gold": delay of less than 30uS need to reduce the number turns of coil and should be replaced with higher frequency of 32kHz crystal to crystal of 100kHz. But after these changes was the question of stability in the ground high mineralization... Best regards.
