      Good work. C35 is incorrect on cct diagram. Diode D1 will be a zener, 5V1, probably.C17 error connection. U3 pins 11,12,13,14 will all be grounded, I think.

        i have been metal detecting for close on 40 years and i want to build my own metal detectors
        i know nothing about Schematics or electronics where would be the best place to actually get hold of a good system to build,i would be grateful for any help,

              Spookmore, as you're UK based, a good place to start would be to take a look at the kits produced and sold by 'Silverdog',- website has that name.

                The +5V supply is obviously used as a virtual ground, it might make more sense to re-label +5V as 0V, +11V as +5V, and 0V as -5V. Hopefully you understand what I mean there.

                      Exact: C35 is on pin 5 of U6 and D1 is a zener.
                      But C17 is good (5v is ground for you)

                        The other end of C17 is wrong - goes to U4. Also Q11,Q12 look wrongly connected.

                              Boy, you're hard work...... the bottom end of C4 should go to the input of the opamp. On your circuit IT DOES NOT.
