Good work. C35 is incorrect on cct diagram. Diode D1 will be a zener, 5V1, probably.C17 error connection. U3 pins 11,12,13,14 will all be grounded, I think.
i have been metal detecting for close on 40 years and i want to build my own metal detectors
i know nothing about Schematics or electronics where would be the best place to actually get hold of a good system to build,i would be grateful for any help,
spookmore, I tried to answer your PM concering the schematic you ask about, but I'm not allowed to send a PM to you, PM me again with some sort of contact information. Thanks
The +5V supply is obviously used as a virtual ground, it might make more sense to re-label +5V as 0V, +11V as +5V, and 0V as -5V. Hopefully you understand what I mean there.

Exact: C35 is on pin 5 of U6 and D1 is a zener.
But C17 is good (5v is ground for you)
