I have a couple of folks I have been in contact with who have built or are building a sidesan using Dan's information for the dases of their projects. One of them (B0b) has a great success with his unit. I am fowarding this wed site to both of them and asking them to please share their knowledge with everyone.
I am going to start building one during the next 30 days using a Humminbird LCR 4000 and 4 humminbird puck transducers ($15.66) each that have a 16 degree beam. I will follow Dan's instructions for this 1st project and if it works will try to duild a double side sonar using the same transducers.
