The photo above is a Lowrance Mach 1 fish finder. It powers the fish in addition to providing you with a hard copy. You could also use an LCD such as a Lowrance LMS 350A (more power). The problem with an LCD is you cannot review those blobs or targets that might be wrecks.

The Mach I was followed by the X-15, X-15A (I think) and then the X-16. I have a Mach 1 and an X-16 (same power).
When the fish is done, I'll try it on the X-16 and my LMS-350 to see if there is any difference and let you know the results.
