Long transducers

So before I go ahead and order them, does anyone have concerns about using a 4 inch, (100 mm)long element?


I was thinking about Sture's post about ringing with the long steel bar.. Does having a long element potentially cause the same problem?

Ive read somewhere that ideal the array should be 1 element.


So I suppose that the longer the elements the better.


Do you have a price ?
