I need help incorporating rebirth into sonar. I do what the manual says and I first go to insert > rewire device > rebirth audio. A menu appears where it asks me if I want the data sent to all or the first audio track, I choose first because I only want it on one track, not every available. The synth rack appears with Rebirth in it. Then I attempt to record, and the problems begin. When I record to the Rebirth audio track, it dosen't actually record data sent from rebirth, it just records a flat line that acts as a cue (it just plays the rebirth track in rebirth). I can't adjust the bpm in rebirth, it just sits at 100, and if I try to load a different song to be recorded it just starts playing that song instead (when I play the data portion that's supposed to be the first rebirth track; I realize that I could probabily load multiple instinces of rebirth, but I think there should be a way where you can actually record to the track, then load another, record to the next track, ect). Is there any way to A) Have rebirth data be sent to a track to where I can alter the settings in rebirth in real time, such as BPM and various knobs, and have that data be actually recorded to the track in Sonar (or at least make the rebirth loop move to the bpm i composed it to be in) and B)Be able to send data from ReBirth to one track, record it, then load a different tune and send that to another track? Thank you so much to whoever helps me with this problem, nigel.
