Hi folks, thanks to Jim Beyers with the FMDAC South Central Chapter, we now have an on-line petition which we hope will put pressure on the Texas Parks Dept. to allow recreational metal detecting in state parks. PLEASE go to the following address and sign our petition. You don't have to be from Texas to sign it; all are welcome and you out of staters might mention that when you visit Texas you expect to be able to enjoy your hobby of metal detecting. Have all your family members sign as well but be sure to use their names as we are deleting duplicates. The MD hobbyists of Texas thank you in advance.
