    Does anybody know what is the dead zone under the side-scan sonar DF-1000 EdgeTech? I would be really gratefull if somebody answers my question?

    The "dead Zone" is the area under a towfish that is not ensonified due to the angle of the transducers. This is normally refered to as the "Nadir gap" As a general rule of thumb this gap is about twice the altitude of the towfish depending on the angle you set the DF-1000 transducers.
