I realized that this was a scam since the guy wanted to do the business outside ebay.

Everyone: Do not make business with this guy from Texas, USA who is offering a complete Wesmar SSS for 1000$ or less.

Westmar scam

The same guy offered me the sonar as a second chance deal on ebay.

We agreed on a dollar amount but when I would not wire him the cash and asked to pick the sonar up in person I bailed out.
