Contract Award Number 12/2007, related to the purchase of a “lateral sonar” to the Tunisian National Institute for Marine Science and Technology
The Tunisian Education and Research Ministry is looking for purchasing a ”lateral sonar” to the Tunisian National Institute for Marine Science and Technology. Sonar characteristics must comply with the technical requirements described in the project specifications.
Interested bidders may ask for a copy of the project specifications. The latter will be available from the 17th of December 2007 at the Tunisian Education and Research Ministry (address: Rue de Sousse – 1030 Tunis).
This contract award is a two-step process:
1/ First step: the technical offer
Each bidder must make a technical offer. The latter must be sent via online tracking mail to the following address:

Besides the address, the following sentence must be written on the envelop: “Appel d’offres international numero 12/2007 – Relatif a l’acquisition d’un SONAR LATERAL pour le compte de l’INSTM – A ne pas ouvrir.”
The technical offer must be received before the 26th of January 2008 and must contain:
a/ a deposit of 5,000 tunisian dinars (about 450,000 Japanese yens)
b/ the administrative form and the associated proofs as indicated in the project specifications
c/ the technical description as indicated in the project specifications
2/ Second step: the financial offer
This step only concerns bidders whose technical offer is accepted. They will be invited to make a financial offer in accordance with the project specifications. Each financial offer must be sent via online tracking mail and besides the address, the following sentence must be written on the envelop: “Appel d’offres international numero 12/2007 – Relatif a l’acquisition d’un SONAR LATERAL pour le compte de l’INSTM – Offre financiere.”
The bids received will remain valid for a period of 120 days from the 27th of January 2008.
