good Pinpointer

This came right when i was looking for a pinpointer, so, thanks!
I will probably build that, but i would like a list of all the parts, in case i go to an electronics shop. It would be better to just give a list with what i need.

Also i would like a little more detail on how you make the coil.

I am interested in the first pinpointer (.rar file named all), because it's shape would be easy to handle and carry around.

By the way, would i have problem if i enclose everything in a plastic or aluminum tube?

The two is better than some and give almost the same results - I have made two ----- and leave you to which with you easier to see - to get good results should be carefully wrapped coil and regularity of the windings-rod2 The best from rod1.

Thanks for the link, but how you dispose of all the etching solutions, acid, etc?

I do not know about any hazardous material disposal factory in my country, and it would be too overkill to call the Fire Department's HazMat response team. These guys are meant to respond in serous things like terrorist attacks.

So, how can these things made safe? I really do not want to flush them down the toilet...

I am not sure if it is legal to do that since Greece is part of the European Union, and we probably have similar laws about waste disposal...

Anyway, i will check about it. Until i find a legal and safe way of disposal, the used liquids will be kept on secure plastic containers.

I found a Ferrite rod from a radio, but it is broken in two pieces... Can i duct-tape it and use it?

-As in the case on the broken 2 pieces,Can be welded by a substance such a speed of drought as UHU, Making sure that the 2 pieces in the same situation with the old stick with fully make sure there is no air gap between them Then place a UHU.
