What kind of a scam is this? This guy has been putting this URL on all the forums. I think he's just trying to get people to send their schematics. That dated, old PI schematic is a pretty lousy temptation to send him schematics.

He apparently doesn't have some of the schematics he says he has. I asked for several (not a whole pile), and he sent me an email attachment of an old product I hadn't asked for. I was afraid to open the attachment. In the transmittal he asked me to send him schematics if I wanted more.

Giving John the benefit of the doubt, I think he is sincerely interested in setting up a website to make schematics available, but to get the whole thing rolling, he needs the schematics, and so right now there's a discrepancy between what he's offering and what he can actually deliver. I think his website represents what he is intending to do, and isn't quite doing yet.

I didn't see money mentioned anywhere. This is why I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I'd have sent him a schematic or two, except my personal situation is such that the schematics I have were furnished in confidence by clients, and are not mine to divulge.

Hi:
I read your post about "M"... some person apparently was posting metal detector circuits. I attempted to get a copy of the Silver SabreII circuit, but he's no longer responding to emails (maybe it's just me...)

Anyway, would it be possible for you to send me a copy of that circuit? I'd really like to take a look at it. I've been trying to find a good IB detector circuit to build, but so far the best I can come up with is the Radiometer Ferret.
